its called the speakers. use 'em. lol But as for an official psp 3 way listening device....no.

I beg to differ.
Heres what you need to do:
Go to any electronics store and ask the clerk if they crry ear phone y's. You will plug the ear phone y into your head-phone jack on your PSP. This will alow you to have 2 peaple whith ear phones. You need to get to ear phone jacks to have 3 peaple listening at the same time.

it does take some power to run the headphones, and running 3 would take 3x the power, would it not?

It's not exactly headphones but you could try it.I think i saw a site with speakers for the psp.

If the headphone is your average headphone socket, then you can pick up a pair of portable speakers for about $5.
There's also a little thing called a splitter, it's a little black headphone bit that plugs into a headphone socket with 2 sockets to fit to sets of headphones. That only supports 2 headphone sockets though.

Well seeing as I DON'T ACTUALLY OWN A PSP then I wouldn't of known. I also forgot that it was an official one he was looking for bearing in mind I posted my comment four days ago.
I also said he could purchase a pair of speakers instead as an alternative to a "psp 3 way listening device".
And At least I contributed to the thread by actually trying to help :|

Are you trying to watch a UMD or Homebrew ?
3 headphones use the same power as 1 headphone @ The same VOLUME, but due to the spreading of the soundwaves you'll have less loud sound and will have to raise volume ... since the most power in the PSP (and other portable devices) isn't used by headphones but by that little thing called multi-processor-thingie just go with the homebrew ... I've Never heard of an official 3-headphone combo ... you could always buy a splitter and 2 official sony headphones, your 2 friends share one (mono) and you enjoy the glory of eeuhm STEREO whiii
on the gamespot they've some nice accesoiry all in one: Protection shield/BatteryPack/2Speakers -> go there for the coolest solution
(but as I remember it was on the prizy side :(

I'm not getting into an argument with you, i've given you my reasons, so just leave it there. I did contribute to the thread because I suggested something to him regardless of what was already said, I still tryed to help a fellow member of aD with any trouble that he had.

That's what you said, now I don't know where you come from, but I do not know what the hell an "earphone y" is, in Scotland UK we call them splitters not these "earphone y" things. So just leave it there eh..

spreading of soundwaves? no soundwaves travel thru air not wires. no u dont need to raise the volume just like u dont need to increase voltage when u plug more that 1 thing into ur outlet. multi-processor-thingie? omg its processor. processors are very low wattage and voltage. that screen takes the power! homebrew is like software dude! last to say about u is U JUST THINK U SOUND SMART GOSH!
ok guys u shouldnt argue just truce (am i spelling that right?) u should get the two splitters so u and ur friends can listen and watch the movies. if u truly want an official 3-way splittert than better off letting ur frined buy their own psps.
