How to save a part on an online radio show?

I have a specific part of an online radio show (playable with RealPlayer). I would like to save this part as a file which I can work on (cut pieces out of it, etc.) on my PC.

How can I do that?
Which programs would I need to be able to save this part as a file I can work on?

You could download the entire radio show.

Streaming media recording software list.

Then edit it.

Or a few recorders(above) will work with start and end times in the stream URL if the server supports that.
