I know that this is one of those original bittorrent probs.. but please im in despreat for help now, i keep reading how some guys have up to 100kB/s+ DL on azureus ... but for me i open ports and stuff, and did all that. Now im still having 10 - 30kB/s... so if anyone please give me help.... i have a 2wire 1000SW router and using azureus, got DSL up to 300k and i get a green face for my health on azureus. I port forword like what anyone else would might say for me to do so, if anyone know what gaps for me to fill up of doing.... please post back!

btw... need more info of what i use feel free to ask..=)

If you could get 300kbps on your dsl, but you have very low speeds on your cable, (3-15 is considered low), then there could be a number of problems. If it worked on your DSL, but not your cable, I think that your ISP is capping your download speed. They can do this by reading the headers on the information sent to your computer, and choke up the rate at which this specific data is transfered. If this is the case, then you have no other choice but to change your ISP. But don't do that unless you are absolutely sure. I know there is an ISP in the Vancouver area that does this, as well as a few in Florida and New York.

How many seeders to leechers are there? The download will just slog along if there are only 10 seeders and 20 leechers.

ALWAYS SEED A DOWNLOAD AFTER YOU HAVE COMPLETED IT!

There's nothing more annoying than everyone leeching a download and not contributing to it.
