Not sure if this is the right place to put this but anyway.....
I want to play my mp3's on my pc through my hifi which is in a different room. Whats the best way to do this e.g. apple airport express?
Any help and reviews/experience of kit would be most welcome

well if you want to transfer your music to your stereo over either wired network or wireless network, then you will need an audio decoder unit to connect to your stereo. Many brands make them, from Polk audio to netgear. They're usually called streaming audio players, and are as cheap as $100, although those won't have wireless cards built in.

For the best quality mp3s use EAC (exact audio copy) to rip your audio CDs and LAME to encode them. Follow this guide:
