Hello everybody, I saw ther forum and I just couldn't resist putting my two cents in. Limewire is by far the best p2p app I have ever used. It simply rocks. If you want to pay for something then try the registered (pro) version of it, it works better than the regular version, however the regular version works fine. Actually if you are clever enough you can get the free version (which has no spyware), and then use your smarts to get the pro. If you don't follow me, well I'm sorry but I can't tell you. Also, if you are having problems with spyware then you should try using as many apps as you can to get rid of it. Spybot is good, but as with any program it will not and cannot remove all of the spyware. Try using Spyware Doctor as well. Also Sytem Mechanic has a good spyware removal tool. If your computer has errors and runs slow I would recommend System Mechanic and also Error Nuker. Hey! Check out Limewire where you can find all of these. Thanks for the info.

But the issue with etomi was much more complicated as adaware and Spybot were not able to remove the malware loaded onto the computer. Using Norton and various other tools didn't help removal either.
In the end the only way to rid the computer of the problems was to boot up in safe mode and remove various references from the registry. I won't bore you with what else had to happen.

Will check out your suggestion.
