Thanks, that was really helpful.
Another thing that might help anyone else. I just found out that my isp gives me 256 Kbits p/s, not KBytes. So I divided it by 8 and got a download of approx. 30KB/s, which is pretty much the maximum I can download at.
Now, I'm not sure if you can manage to icrease that without the isp blocking you, but I think whatever torrent downloading client you use, the max download speed is what is set by the ISP not anything else, such as having triple the number of seeds compared to peers. Please correct me if i'm wrong.
So I think that people downloading at 150KBp/s must have connections that allow about 1Mbp/s downloading.
Anyway, good luck to everyone else.
I was also wondering if it is possible to get a plug in for azereus where i can block people seeing my ip address. I've seen a program called peer guardian, which blocks the authorities out. Is there any other plug-in/program that i would need so i don't go to jail.
DON'T UPGRADE TO 2.3.0.2!!!!
my Azureus was running perfect under ver 2.3.0.0, update to .2 and its gone shithouse. ARRRRRGHHHH!!!
going back to version 2.2. never had probs with that.
Ive noticed that azereus downloads at different speeds on different sites, Why cant they just make it simple, Instead of loads of boxes to tick and untick, On one site i use regular i get great speeds all the time, And my upload speed differes to different people, Cause everyones is probably running differently, But on another site i cant get download speeds above 30 kbs, So sometimes when your messing about with azereus it could have something to do with where your downloading from, But the client is to complicated for me, The only good thing about it is the easiness to upload stuff,
