you dont actually have to scan some of the files,as it is not needed,
but unless you know which they are,i would just scan them all

you need to open up all the folders, and scan everything in sight,
the app will soon tell you that a scan is not needed,so dont worry

As far as I know... there is no way to play copy PS1 games on a PS2... I could be wrong but I have yet to find one...

Wait... that isn't nessacarily true... I remember hearing something about using a CodeBreaker or Gameshark to play burned ps1 games on Ps2... But don't take my word for it...

you cannot use this for ps1 games

and you can boot ps1 games with something like breaker pro,
or if you have a modchip,by putting the ps2 in ps1 mode

Hi, I downloaded an iso file that is suppose to allow you to play SNES games onto your ps2. The file is in iso format. I tried converting it into a dvd and burning it. *i use swap magic for most of my back up* and it doesn't seem to work. I followed your instructions exactly... i'm pretty sure i was suppose to burn the file onto an CDR b/c the file isn't bigger than 500 mb. However, since swap magic can't play cdr files, i wanted to convert it into an DVD. I followed your steps, and i don't seem to be able to load it. Is there something i'm missing?!

if its an iso that you started with in the first place, then why did you try and convert it?
iso is dvd format

bin images are for CD'S

Oh... okay... i'll try burning it onto a DVD and see if that works. I hope the size of it doesn't matter. I burnt it onto a cdr and it worked on my friend's ps2. IF iso files are dvd format, then it shoudl be no prob... but if not.... then i am confused... thanks for the reply! ^_^

Alright, i just tried burning the iso file onto a dvd and run it on my ps2 with swap magic. It does not work. I get the message of this isn't a valid ps2 disc. So i guess i need to burn it as a CDR. Since that worked on my friends' ps2. So any thing i can do to convert it? i tried your way, but it doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions?

thanks for your reply!

I know this may be a little late, and off topic, but sushi You need to burn snes station on a cd and you don't need a modchip or swap magic to play it, go here and read the tutorial, works like a charm.

I can't get this method to work for me .On madagascar ps2 cd game I'm getting all kinds of errors while reading disc .I tried to read it with Alcohol 120 ,isobuster, Nero, cdrwin .Maybe I'm dooing something wrong. It is the first time I'm trying to backup playstation game .Never had so many problems with movies on dvd .DVD Shrink is great for that and its free.If you have any advice...........it would be great .
