dude, you an idiot, why did you update, updating to anything past 1.5 means no more fun emulators and junk, your gonna have to wait until they crack 1.52.

quick question...does the gba emulatore have to use the swap trick? i only have one folder coming up "bin", i thought there was supposed to be two...something like "BIN" AND "BIN%"?I sweat i haven't had any problems with the psp...and this gba emulator is starting to piss me off...if anyone has gotten this running please let me know how you did it..i tried the kxploit trick but i gave up on it...i couldn't ever get it too work...everytime i went to generate the file it gave me an error saying "error can not generate files"...i've tried reinstalling the kxploit but i get another error saying something about a system file...oohh well..so far i have been able to drop everything into the PSP\Game\ file manually except this one...like i said earlier...i am wondering why there is only one folder for the gba emu...i've downloaded a few and they keep giving me the same results...problem solved..for some reasonafter i went to www.psp-dev.com and downloaded off another mirror i finally found one that works...i think it is mirror 5..no more errors

@liez4love
to overclock the psp...start a game from one of the emulators you have once the game is up and running...move the analog stick to the left and it will bring up a menu for you to change your specs...frame skip will help with the stuttering but don't set too high because that will also cause stuttering in the frames...also if you decide to max out your psp at 333mhz be CAREFUL this could damage your system...i set mine at 266mhz and i have had no problems

yeah i'm waiting till they get an upgrade for it(gba)...it's way too slow too play any games on it...hopefully it will be out soon, my girl loves kirby...although kxploit has been a pain in the a$$ for me, i finally got it going..i just put the extracted rom files to desktop and then i open kxploit to open and generate a new psp (eboot) file so i can run the roms....

i just got the lumines iso rip to work. it works perfectly(no sound though, bummer), its amazing how 1.8 gig disc got compressed to be able to fit on my 32 megabyte memory stick.

Yeah, but it doesn't mean that the original game was using the whole disc. Umd maximum capacity is 1,8gb yeah, but the game probably used few hundred mb's of it.

Yet you posted that it's amazing that 1,8gb disc was compressed so it fits you 32mb ms. Compress = includes all data, rip = unnecessary files are deleted.

ok ok everyone chill :)

all that really matters here is that games are on the verge of being played w/o mods adn can fit onto memory cards...right? so for right now we all need to be wearing the biggest dayum smiles...i do have one question about the games being put on memory cards...you know how dead to rights2 has to have a firmware update to play...i wonder if it still going to be needed once it is ripped? hopefully it won't but got the feeling it will :*(
truthfully i don't like that game but it would probably apply to all games that came out with protection, and if we update the firmware(which i probably won't even if some phat ass game comes out)will umd iso launcher still work?just my thoughts..... ;)

@solargame
hey man, thought you might find this a lil' interesting...i haven't tried it (don't have lumines or a 1gb ms)...If your using the us version of lumines, hex edit the boot.bin on address 0070E38 and change the values 86 E3 7D 97 into B5 61 0F 71...And the sound works

do you have winhex or hex workshop?....if you have either one open it up, once open click on file,look for your lumines boot.bin(i suggest you make a backup copy of the boot.bin, in case of any mess up), once found open it...you should get a bunch of numbers on the winhex screen...to the left there will be an address for each line(use this line to fine your section to edit for the sound),once you have found the address look for the numbers to change...like i said i haven't tried it yet but it was posted on a few sites..i think i found it on psp-updates.com or www.psphacks.com one of the two...

never mind, just forget it, i cant find the site either and i cant edit it. and when you said you dont have a 1 gig memory stick (@ evnflow), why did you mean that? my luminees is only like 26 megs and it fits on the standard memstick, does hex editing it change its size that dramatically.

did the site say anything about it changing the filesize, becuase, if you think about it, how can you just turn on the sound that was ripped out of the game. changing 5 numbers and letters probably wont do anything. i bet its something that will screw your psp up but i dont know.

i don't know i will post the site when i get home...i think i still have it saved as a fav..at work right now...was too tired when i got home to even look at the comp...even if it was incorrect it would only make the file corrupt(i think it should anyways), sorry i'll try to get a lil more info on it for you..cuz i just got the iso for it and want to try it myself
