The hell with downloadin all that free crap! Seriously, if it is that bad, just reload the OS. Format and Reload from scratch. I know its a pain in the ass but hey, its gotta be done. Adaware, Spyblaster and all those great free downloads do not help much. For instance, Adaware, when removing the spyware in the registry, also removes the registry key, thus breaking down the OS. I run NIS 2004 and Spysweeper in my system. For hiding computer info, i use ghost surf and with these 3 programs, i have had little to no problems within the last 4 months. if you want, just go on to a P2P program and find these spyware programs. I'm sure you will find something. All in all..... Start from scratch. I had to do it, but you have to know, your OS is pretty much needing a fresh copy!!!
Oh, and for your browser cache and temp files.... look for a program called "windows wassher" created by "Webroot" http://www.webroot.com . if you have to spend a couple bux, hey why not.... it will stop you from having to search around for answers like these. lol. =D Take care.
