is your game in a folder called 'ISO' in the root directory? i cant get burnout to work, i downloaded it and it all weird files, its 207mb, does this sound like its not burnout?

The burnout i got un-rars to be 477mb, pretty sure its the right file. My only guess its its the firmware version, but i've no idea how to change that, tried the WAB firmware changer to v1.50, still didn't work. I really wanna play that game!

i tried to create an iso file with all the files i have and once its converted it the iso is no where to be found, all the burnouts on the torrent site i used were 207mb, i really want to play it, looks llike i'll have to buy it

hello everyone...Death Jr. isn't working on this version of Fastloader(V0.07), but Humma Kavula has stated that he does have it working on his new Fastloader(FL-Express)...he said he's working on it right now and hasn't released it yet, may be his last :*(
@CupC4kes..hey i left a post for you on the "guide for homebrew" forum, but i didn't know you where talking about this game...to get Burnout working in the ISO folder...go to the first RAR or Unknown file you have for it and right click on it and select "Open With"...then choose WinRAR and click ok...this should bring up a WinRAR window with the iso in it for you to Extract to your ISO folder on your psp...
@Voodoo101...do you have the Fastloader and Fastloader% folders in your PSP\GAME directory?

i downloaded fastloader and followed the guide that was previously posted and it was going fine until the initializing part. it basically just froze and i let it set at that screen for like 10 minutes and it never launched the game. i tried the wipeout pure with the twisted metal umd and the dead 2 rights one with no umd. any help would be appreciated.

@mmdogg...hello and welcome...ok first off do you have the ISO folder on the Root Directory(the root directory is the first window that pops up when you plug your psp into your computer...also has the psp folder on the same window)...second off are you putting the ISO image file in that folder(the ISO folder) and not putting the PSP_GAME folder and UMD_DATA.bin file in there(if you have these files[PSP_GAME & UMD_DATA.BIN], then you are going to need to put them back into ISO format)...what files do you have? if you have just the PSP_GAME folder and the UMD_DATA.bin file then you are going to need to convert them to an ISO file...i have a guide for converting those files\folders into an ISO file if you need it...let me know how it turns out...good luck, holla ;)

Thanks for yer help so far, am trying to play world tour soccer on fastloader and it just turns off after the language selection screen what am i doing wrong?
And same happens with tiger woods pga tour golf is there any loaders for these,
AND if so can you run through how i get these to work thanks!

@delboyuk....hey man glad to hear go your other games working..i know that tiger woods should work with fastloader V0.07, however it will lock up with the Hookboot Launcher...i looked around for a loader for World Tour Soccer, couldn't find one that actually worked though...if anyone finds one please let me know also...good luck, holla ;)

Ok so world tour soccer dont work with anything damn, looks like a good game.
Tiger woods deffo works with fastloader 0.7, ill have go and try it again.

i got this problem with my death jr. game. Its in the PSP_GAME and UMD_DATA format. I followed ur method into converting them into iso format, step by step, but when i load the file in to the ISO folder on my memory stick and run it, it gets stuck (on a blank screen)after the 'Initializing' screen comes up. What am I doin wrong?

I got ridge racers as well, and it dont work on fastloader 0.7, I can only seem to use fastloader, how do other loaders work always get the error message and it says press a key to continue. Think the files need to go somewhere else is that right?
And I notice these rip kits, how do you get these to work as well?

@phader...Death Jr. can ONLY be played with Fastloader V0.08( AKA UMDEMULATION)....SWWEEETTTNNEEESSS, sorry....yes you can now play this game...you can either google it or get it in the link in my sig...here's the guide for it:
Once Downloaded and Extracted to your Desktop, you should have these folders....PSP, UMDEMULATOR, and a Readme.txt...ok first off plug your psp into your computer...now take the "UMDEMULATOR" folder and place it on the Root Directory(the first window that pops up when you plugged in your PSP...also contains the PSP folder), minimize this window....now go back to your desktop and double click on the PSP folder(the one on your computer, NOT the one on your PSP), this should bring up another window that contains the "GAME" folder, double click on this folder and it should contain these folders, "UMDEMULATOR" AND "UMDEMULATOR%"...now highlight both of these folders and right click on one of them and select "Copy"....now go back to the window that you minimized for your psp and once it opens double click on the PSP folder(the one on your PSP), then double click on the Game folder, once this folder opens up, right click on an open space and select "Paste"....now to put an ISO on your PSP...back out of the "GAME" folder and back out once more till you are at the Root Directory again(the one with the PSP folder on it)...and double click on the "UMDEMULATOR" folder...now once folder opens up, double click on the ISO folder...this is the folder where you will place your ISO image files(the games)....now to start a game...once you have installed the Fastloader V0.08(aka UMDEMULATOR) and placed an ISO in the ISO folder(the one in the UMDEMULATOR directory)...now place ANY umd in the slot of your psp and back out of USB mode and go to your Memory Stick icon(the one below the UMD icon) and press X...then select the smiley face with "UMD Emulator" next to it...this should bring up a green screen on your psp with cogs(spikey wheels) in the background...and it should have your ISO listed ...pretty much the same as before...now make sure these settings are listed on screen:
CPU/BUS speed: 222/111 MHz
ISO mode: on
Disctype ISO: game
Disctype UMD: game
Updater icon: remove
Regioncode game: regionfree
Regioncode video: regionfree
Regioncode audio: regionfree
Flash0 emulation: off
Flash1 emulatoni: off
now once the settings are taken care of...select the ISO(game) you want to start to play..and begin...(sidenote: if the screen goes back to your main menu of your psp...you've messed up big....can we say bricked)...LOL...just kidding, it's going to go back to the main menu...now once it has gone back to your main menu(the PSP background screen)...place ANY umd in the slot of your psp wait for the umd icon to appear...now press up on the directional pad and it should bring you to the umd icon...but look at the icon closely, because now it is the ISO you put on your psp..hence the name UMD EMULATOR...now click on it and enjoy...good luck and if you need any help, just ask...holla ;)
@delboyuk...hey man..i don't quite know what you saying there but check out the new fastloader...Ridge Racer will load it up for you, however World Tour Soccer still WON'T load :( ...good luck, holla ;)

Anyone know how to play NEO GEO games on psp? i have the emulator which i have transferred to my psp, put the rom in the correct rom folder, but when trying to run the games it dont work, i keep getting an error message... also have noticed with these games there are alot of rom files per game... anyone mastered playing neo geo games on psp.

@delboyuk...when you downloaded Fastloader V0.08...you got three files? the first one being PSP, the second one...UMDEMULATOR and the third one a readme.txt file...the second file, UMDEMULATOR...goes on your Root Directory(the directory with the PSP folder)...when you double click on the UMDEMULATOR folder it should have three files\folder in it...ISO folder, core.bin file, and a menu file(pic)...put your game iso's in the ISO folder in this directory...good luck, and if you need anymore help, just ask...holla ;)
@nadia25...i'll try to get you a guide out to help...haven't played with the neo geo emulator...will try it out though

Hi all i am a new PSP owner and i recently purchased a 1gb mem stick so that i could play my back up PSP ISO's.
i installed Fastoader 0.07, Put an ISO in the ISO folder, then went to the boot screen Smiley face then sponge bob) but when i press X it cant load the iso and says
"this game cannot be started the data is corrupted".
I am on frimware version 2.0 is that the problem?
Does fastloader workk on 1.52 +??
Any help would be nice

you need a psp with firmware version 1.5 or less to play iso's. im suprised you even got the spongebob screen to come up. hopefully there should be a downgrader released soon so you can switch yours to 1.5.

Need some help very new to this, My Psp is 1.5 with 1 gb stick trying to put Fastloader 0.7. How do I load it. When I plug in through usb, Removeable Disk comes up.No psp like in your instructions.

if you double click on the removeable disk...it should bring up the window with the psp folder in it..and follow the guide for fastloader V0.08..(it's the newest fastloader and the most refined)...if you need more help, just ask, holla ;)

Hello everyone! Just registered today,looks like a awesome site!
Anyway I am considering plunking some cash on a Japan PSP, a version 1.00 if I am not mistaken, just wanted to know if I'd face any hiccup's if I wanted to use either Fastloader v.07 or the new released v.08, for backup purposes, I have 2 original games I wouldn't mind backing up, Metal Gear Ac!d and Hot Shots Golf Open Tee, strange as it sounds I always buy games first before buying the actual console.So let me know if I should get a US PSP v1.50 firmware or a Japanese 1.00 firmware PSP, I have seen the Japanese PSP locally.A US PSP means I'd have to resort to ebay,any input would be appreciated!Thanks~!
