I have other questions... the "PSP" dir in readme of a Homebrew means the dir of my PSP or create a new dir named "PSP"?
Can you giv me your opinion about physical quality about a PSP? Will it survive a light fall?

LOL i have looking in the first page uptill now, in the readme's in homebrew the PSP dir is the main folder in the psp where it saves the games saves, music, homebrew etc.
u will see this when u connect ur psp to the pc.
to get homebrew into ur psp u simpily copy n paste the two folders into the GAME folder, which is in the PSP dir.
for example u would copy in the two folders called HOMEBREW and HOMEBREW%.

u could of Googled most of the stuff u asked in this thread. to late now.
the difference between v1.0 and v1.50 is that:
"The full package for the first PSP update, which will take the PSP operating system to version 1.5, includes a lot of simple interface upgrades. These features include: Support for German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and Russian language options on the PSP menu (it will not affect in-game menus), a setting to retain the screen mode on videos, and a quick-resume function to resume playback of audio and video after coming out of the PSP's sleep mode (it won't automatically keep playing the media file, but you can jump right into the track or movie exactly where you left off before sleeping.)."

if u want a nice long review about the psp then go to:
http://www.engadget.com/entry/1234000347022687/
however some of the rumors other people mentioned might not be true, like popping umd disk etc.
and some stuff might be outdated now.

I have a PSP_GAME file which it contains PSP ISO files. I need to recompress it back into ISO file. Is there an utility that is used to compress data into ISO file?
Can I just simply use WinRAR or WinZIP to compress it and rename it into *.iso?

no to rebuild an iso u should use vcdromx. there's a forum in the psp section on how to use it and where to get it from.

About compressing the ISO, I use UMD Shrink.
But the problem is will it damage the ISO when shrinking it?
And... Is it 100% percent that the shrinked ISO will work?

no it wont damge the iso. however iso compressing programs tend not to make the new iso work. (what i have heard)
i use YAUIS Umd Shrinker and have not had any problems shrinking 10 or more iso's.

Actually, I know all of them well, just wanna make sure that they're all 100% correct. This is because I'm going to buy a PSP and the shop owner confused me by dozen off rubbish.
