have not ma man, will do as soon as their back up and running. hirecovers.com was shit hot but it doesnt seem to be online at the momnet either. a tried the one mentioned up the top that says you have to pay a wee bit for it, that looks even better i'm considering payin them their $8 for 50. double the resolution of normal cover sites. so even with the cheap ink the resluts are still great. what i do because i use the slim covers is go to fye.com, and put in the title of the movie then i go to larger image, and download that, then i put that in Nero Cover Designer stretch it to fit and put title on the spine, and print it out that way. not hard, but at least i get the front cover, and title on the spine, and it will fit the slim cases.

You should try to update your list of sites.
covers.to is dead and megasearch and coverisland give can't find server errors.
Also, coverland tried to load a Trojan (http://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2003-011710-3138-99)
when I visited it.

I just had to d/l both disc and full size case cover of the movie cars. Had over 20 different covers to choose from for the jacket, about 6 for the disc cover. That's why it's my #1 site for free/awesome covers.
The jacket covers look better than original!!!!

I have a question about a dvd disc cover. I use regular dvd printing software and covers for my dvds. But when I put the cover on my dvd it wont play in my dvd player... the picture gets blurred or skips. I don't have a printer that prints directly on the cd. Any suggestions on how to make this stop?

If you really want GOOD, truly hi-res covers, I find it's well worth the $12 annual subscription to join generetic.org. Unlimited downloads and everything is awesome quality (unlike the fuzzy--though free--junk at cdcovers.cc). If you really like to put your Epson to task it'll love being fed the generetic stuff (kind of like I love Ben & Jerry's).

I can't count the numerous times that members had playback issues and found out they were slapping sticker labels on their discs. They must be placed on perfect, with the proper tools, and still can throw off the balance, build up heat, and even tear apart. When playback issues arrise, that sticker is the first thing to look at. Remove it,and try playing again.Stand alone players have a harder time with backup discs. They can pick out dozens of things that is wrong with your backup copies.
Yesterday I was helping another member and found out he/she was also slapping sticker labels on them. They were causing this member freezing about 3/4 of the way through.
After removing label and those issues still appear-test it out in the pc using the DVD-RW drive that burned them-which should show a perfect playback-if OK:After that, then comes the following culprits:
1) Burned too fast
2) Crap media-get some quality taiyo yuden or verbatim
3) Dirty laser lens, take notes of where those issues occur and test in other drives-by watching those areas. If it's 1 stand alone drive that only shows those issues-run a lens cleaning disc through it-but it's a last resort before replacement.
4) Too much compression
5) Backup target size:Don't burn the the outer edge of disc.Keep target under 4360 mbs with quality media,4300 mbs with crap media.
6) No disc error: Wrong region,no disc, wrong format,or a dirty disc type of error code when not recognizing your backups.
I'll bet the sticker label or the media quality is the likely culprit. What's the MID code of your blank media-using nero's infotool, dvd identifier, dvdinfopro,or other programs. Here's dvdidentifier and it's free:

I am using the sticker to make covers. I heard this is pretty good : Verbatim's own Verbatim Touch-Less Labeling, would that be better than not putting the stickers on correctly? I like my dvd's to have a professional look instead of plain. But I just bought a Lexmark printer and I'm really not looking to purchasing one that prints onto the cd.

I must advise against ANY adhesive labels. It's a crap shoot! I've been there, done that. I had problems with about half the discs I labelled with adhesive labels (about 20 out of 40). I have well over 1000 burns now on inkjet printable TY and Verb with ZERO issues (due to artwork)... For labels/covers, I recommend hirescovers.net!!! Freecovers.net is a good back-up as well. Covers.cc has the biggest database, but there are some pretty crappy scans from time to time.
EDIT: And, when all else fails, there's always Photoshop (or as a free and almost as feature-rich alternative, theres: http://www.freeserifsoftware.com/software/PhotoPlus/default.asp just register with an unused yahoo or hotmail account)... There are numerous label/cover templates that you can find.

The cost isn't $12 it's 12 pounds (Sterling).That's $20+.
I went to the site and you get to look at one cover.
For that kind of money I want to see some more examples, maybe even a freebie, but I won't pony-up on the strength of one look-see.
