looks like you hit the nail on the head with that one. Nintendo screwed itself in the past by trying to please idiotic parents of younger gamers by trying to keep their games clean for the younger gamers. They have made attempts at trying to undo that damage with games like resident evil for the gamecube but they lost a lot of supporters. Gamers that like more mature games like GTA are avaliable on the xbox/ps2. Socum, call of duty, and plenty of others are probably played by everyone but appeal more to games my age, 26. Most 8 year old enjoy diff gaming experiences. Last time i check the average gamer for the ps2 was 25. while trying to satisfy those parents out there who need to take responsibility of what their kids play themeselves and stop putting the blame on others, Nintendo shot themeselves in the foot and hurt their sales instead of helping them.
