Thanks a bunch jbo1961. The combo you suggested (anydvd + clonedvd2) worked great. I had to use the files ripped with CloneDVD because the files ripped with DVD Decrypter would not work. (I was hoping that just having AnyDVD might help the usual DVD Decrypter -> DVD Shrink sequence, but nope.)

hi, i complete the backup of madagascar by this way:
Open Any DVD 5.3.2.1 with CD in the drive and let open background
Open VOB Blanker 2.0.0.2 and select input folder as your drive with cd. to select output folder, create a file on your hard disk then select process directly in the file you create.
After process terminate put a new DVD in your drive and execute DVD Shrink 3.2 you have just to select the file on your hard drive.
work perfectly

In Regards to Stealth & Madagascar: I use CloneDVD 2 & AnyDVD (Latest) and I backed both up with ease! As far as I'm concerned, the combination of these 2 programs with Quality Media equals SUCCESS Every Time. FYI: Stealth & DVDs like it WILL freeze Nero up. However, CloneDVD 2 makes it easy! I hope this helps someone in the future.

i did Madagascar effortlessly last night with DVDFab Decrypter 2.9.6.0 (free) then Shrunk with DVD Shrink as normal. what i did do was use my dvd-rom/cd-write combo drive (like io do for most of my ripping); didn't try to rip it on any of my dvd burners as i'd done the movie already but it's always nice to have a couple of optical drives..as if a movie won't play ball on one drive you always have a choice of drives to use..
