I used DVD Shrink and Didn't have a problem with mr. and mrs. smith.
I put in the DVD hit Open Disk, clicked on the DVD and hit OK. chose my location and it burned with no problem.

DVD Shrink does this movie just fine. Either the disk you were trying to rip is dirty or a bad press. Alwas clean your disks before you rip them.

Good Luck

@newtechie

You can use either Adobe Photoshop CS2 or Paint (free - this comes with XP users under Start, Programs, Accessories, then Paint and just save it as PNG (this produces the best quality).

@alkohol - I am using Paint but when I resize the pic in the attributes, it cuts off some of the picture. Maybe I'll try the Adobe Photoshop CS unless I find another program that's free.

I was having the same prob with the vts_07_04.VOB file. Nothing was working (AnyDVD, DVD Decrypter, Shrink) nothing.

I then just tried it in the writable drive instead of my DVD Rom drive.

That did the trick. Just an easy FYI for other noobs.

It must be my drive.

I've tried AnyDVD, Dvd decryptor, DVD Shrink, all the lastest verisons.

There is no Arrcos protection either. Tried using the pl plug in.

It stops reading exactly about VTS_03 or 04.

The disc is brand new just took it out of the package.

Oh well I'll execpt defeat.

Ok I'll try that right now.

Just for an update, I tried it in both my Aopen and my Sony DVD RW.

I'll try DVD fab thought.

DVD Fab worked perfect.

Not sure why Shrink or Decryptor didnt.

I think they are just getting old.

Anyways DVDFab worked perfect, thanks for your help.
