In post #8 on this thread "ddp" told you that you either overclocked too much or it was overheating. More than one person has told you to turn off the overclock on the card. Did you set it back to stock speeds? If not, do that now. If you are still having problems, take off the side panel and have a large house fan blowing at the inside of the case. If your system is now stable, then the problem is too much heat (need more cooling). If you are still having problems with the card, then you probably fried something when you screwed with the settings. Overclocking/ tweaking can be a fun, but ultimately expensive hobby.

If you re-installed the drivers then your clock speeds and everything else is set to default, so everything should be normal already.

Damn...ya cant take a hint. Take a fricken house fan...open up the case, and blast the card. That will elimate the heating issue. If ya still got a blue screen then the card is fucked or the game...plain and simple. Merry Xmas!:>

I have a x300 (DirectX 9.0c) and it works great with settings set at the highest for all games except BF2:SP, for that I run at medium. BF2 and FEAR run on high with no problems at all. And I don't oc any. I have a P4 540 HT @ 3.2Ghz dual proc, 1GB pc3200 400Mhz ddr ram. My comp is a stock Vaio VGC-RA820G.

Just a thought, if you start having a problem with a game/video card and you have OC'd, reset everything back to default and try it. Another good tip, Norton GoBack, (software-wise fix). Sounds like something needs to be replaced if you have reset your card/settings and it still wont work. Hope you got some money over the holidays :)
Do what you can while its still questionably Legal, before it becomes UNQuestionably ILLegal.

DUDE!!!
#1 way to fix a problem is take out your video card and put it back in....
i once did that cuz my graphic card was acting wierd and i took it out and put it back in and after the instalation stuff my video card was running better than the day i got it.... TRUE STORY
some wierd stuff happen to my comp...
hey btw do any of u guys know why it takes my comp like 5 seconds to open up the thing when i right-click on the desktop...
also my CPU % raises by 20-30% when i do....
its pissin the hell out of me since all my other comps at my house that are like 2 or 3 yrs old open it up right when i press it... and the cpu goes up 1% max!
ITS FREAKIN ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
