are you saying the video card does have the 4 pin molex connector on it ? if that is what you mean and you dont have any more extra leads coming off the power supply you will need a Y cable . this allows you to use one power lead for 2 devices .

right then. unplug a power cable from one of your cd drives and plug it into the female end of that cable (thats the end that things fit into ;P). this now splits that into 2 cables. plug one of them back into your cd drive and the other into the graphics card

Then go down to your nearest pc store and pick up a couple of splitters, exactly as shown in the pic above. Then just unplug one of your drives and connect them to it and to the video card. That's it.

anyways i have a 6800GT and if i look directly at it there is a plug not the same as a 4pin molex its a tiny black one, you mustve received a plug that goes from tiny little black plug to a 4pin female molex plug?? And if he dont then thats what he needs, and if there is no plug at all on the card then its fuct

nice illustration . the black plug is what i was trying to refer in my previous post . im with everyone else in thinking it needs power supplied to it . i dont think the drivers not being loaded has much to do with this issue . the system must boot before the drivers can be loaded . if all else fails the pc can be brought to a local computer shop and they should be able to take care of this issue .

The question to south all... is the monitor connection cable plugged into whatever monitor type you have on the back of the GPU?

Pokey5, did you not read the entire thread as the poster said that there was not enough power to videocard til the card was plugged into the psu & it works.

anymore people ask a stupid question like that without reading the thread than i'll close this thread which harm other users! so READ before posting!!

wdowsing, did you try unsubscribing if that is what you are talking about??
