I dunno.
Mine is NTSC and from the original.
That is the correct order.
Cheers!

Have you tried doing a backup of it and playing it in PS2?
If so, does it work?

don't think i have to start a new thread for this so i'll post in here.

well the story is i had new theme music ready to burn for sd v raw 2006.
i ripped an iso to my harddrive and opened with isobuster. extracted contents of iso to 'new folder'. replaced old bgm1envb.afs & bgm1envh.afs with new ones (ones with current wwe themes). opened up Nero, selected iso then new, placed files in same order as isobuster to burn (nero reordered them automatically) though i'm sure this doesn't matter, i selected burn, when burned, tried to play but just went back to start up screen.

i think there might be 2 reasons for this:

1 is im using media from ebay (i know, not a good idea)
2 is the dummy file mentioned in here

now i have a modchip and have never had to rebuild since i had swap magic about 1 and a half years ago but is this a special case? i will presume its not until i'm told differently. in which case it can only be the media but i don't want to splash out just yet 'till i know i've done everything right.

thanks

I originally ripped the PAL version to my hard drive using DVD Decrypter. Burned at 4x on TDK fakes (RitekG05). Everything ran fine, but the commentary/music/sound would cut out while in the ring randomly.

I reburned the same image using original Tayio Yuden (TYG02) and it works perfectly now.

No dummy file removal required (at least for my version).

thanks for that, i guess it must just be the media then, i'll stick to tdk & maxell from now on then, and not buy from ebay again.

nope, didn't work, must be doing something wrong but the only thing i can think of thats causing me problems is Nero reordering the files but i thought that didn't matter as long as they are dragged in the same order as they are in isobuster. i'm doing something wrong, just don't know what.

not sure about the volume name thing. Just do whatever that tutorial tells you.
I have Nero so with that and ISO buster rebuilding is just a very simple couple of steps.

finally got it working using apache2 (which i should of used from the beginning) although i got annoyed that it wouldn't work first but that was only 'cause i had afs explorer using the same iso file at the same time. it works now and it feels like i've bought a new game. just gotta download some caws now using the maxdrive.

yeah, i have not played it much either.
I liked the first one much better. They try to add too many features and screw up the fun gameplay. Like the new reversal system. You find yourself getting more moves revered on you then you actually get to use. Plus when you have to watch meters instead of the screen it just sucks. If i wanted to watch meters i would get in my car and rev it and watch the tach go up and down :)
I was very disappointed in the 2006 version myself.
I had a blast with the first S-Vs-R game though.

Last Decent Smackdown was Smackdown 2 on PS1, that was a great game.

Oh well, I have plenty of games I havent played yet, so Im sure I will find one to keep me happy, providin I can get away from Winning Eleven 10 :)

I have a PAL version of Smackdown vs Raw 2006, and it load fine, but I get a black screen with a little red box to the right of the screen. I used PaltoNTSC patcher, could anyone help me on this?
