Watch out with cdcover.cc. My antivirus, Eset's Nod32, has warned of possible trojans, both on downloading covers, and with "ads" used on their site.

@daman1,
Not all the covers, but in my opinion, I believe there are covers that have been uploaded with trojans attached.

OK, guys,
http://www.cdcoverz.com site is running again. They have thousands of FREE high quality covers just like cover.to site. They have covers with over 80 MB in size (BMP format, but still 9 MB after converting to JPEG format)...
They are really HIGH QUALITY, not that low-quality images with less than 1 MB in size (sometimes 300 KB) that you find in another poor cover sites. Try it! And don't mispell the site name, cause there are a lot of similar-name's sites out there...

I purchased the program DVD Cover Searcher Pro...It's a one time fee and it has high res scans easy to use...if more people used that program and uploaded DVD covers it would be the best source right now for DVD covers. I only use cdcovers.cc and covers.to as backups. The program is cheap I think like 8 British pounds and it's been getting better every year. I think the newest one is V3.0 and if you get the Deluxe version it has Game Covers too but as is it has DVD and Audio covers.

I forgot to mention that the sumbit covers is easy to do and because you have an unique id code you get credit for each cover. I might also add that the preview function lets you see the cover before u try and download it only to find it's in another language...not to mention the best feature of all...no advertisements none zip nada :D

Okay so whats the deal with covers.to, it's still down and there is no way I'll ever use the other cover sites.
With most of the others you can't even see the cover your downloading who's to say it's any good or has a virus attached.
with covers.to no download is needed, just right click and go to save picture as, But most of you already know this.
does anyone have any ideas.
Please help.

What you describe it's what happens at http://www.cdcoverz.com site. It's true that you don't see the cover BEFORE you pick up the title you want (I think it's good, cause the site loads FASTER with no thumbnails to show), but AFTER you choice the right title you want (p.e. "SpiderMan 2"), the corresponding cover appears in a pop-up window.
So, After that, no download is needed, you just right click over the cover and choose "save picture as" (BMP format). Totally safe.

Actually you do download on Covers.to When you see the cover filling in on your monitor you are downloading it. Right clicking on the picture allows you to save it. If you didn't download it you wouldn't have it.

Forkndave is right. If you have hi speed internet,then you wouldn't notice it.
But I have dial-up and those 3-4 mb covers takes over 5 mins to dl.
I've tried the other free sites,but the ease of covers.to puts the others to shame. Even their resolution is small,because it only takes me about a minute to dl disc covers from them.
