Your question was about the bugs being worked out. My experience may help you. I bought a core system on the release date. That console quit working after about 20 hours of game play. MS was very good and replaced my system in about a week with a new premium system. That new premium system died after about another 20 hours of game play. I returned that one and MS replaced it with yet another premium. This one has been working for over 100 hours of game play without any problems whatsoever. I'm hoping this third one is the LAST 360 I'll ever need!
I dont know if you are still checking this post, but my opinion has changed. The Xbox 360 STILL has glitches (like a lot of them)WIth my Xbox 360 (whitch is really really new) and Call of Duty game, I can play for a max of 30 minutes of playing time and then 30 minutes of system cool down time :D. If you want to get a system, I recomend the 360 as soon as it comes out with the new chip ( or whatever it is that makes the 360 produce less heat)....I currently use my 360 to heat my house :D.... So ....yea....definately wait
i can't believ everyone says buy a 36o when there are still issues.
Any system that needs a coller or a break after 30 minutes is a pile of crap in my opinion. Those were issues that Sony had 10 years ago on original PS and MS has them now. What a joke.

what you forgot the ps2 issues? not to mention why your almost always going to have to replace the lasers in a ps2? ps2 had hell of issues at launch, so don't talk like Sony's Sh!t don't stink, what about psp's w/ dead pixels? come on son, it's part of consumer electronics, products have issues nobody's perfect, and for your info, u don't need a cooler on the 360, i don't have one, and i've had that sum bitch runnin for over 12hours straight before. research before you speak, because kid Sony is far from perfect, now quit flamin in here.
I had a 360 and is the best thing the only problem I ever got was with Halo 2 and that was only one time because the screen had some kind of white sheet when a started a custom game but then it when away when the game ended. I returned my 360 because not all of the games for xbox are playeble on the 360 yet and the only games I could play on it were Halo 2, Fable, and Ninja Gaiden. I love those games but I wanted to play Kindom Under Fire: Heroes and I was not able to, so I got stuck with halo 2. All I have to say is that if you are not getting some 360 games you should wait until you can because that's what I'm doing now and waiting until November to be cheaper and to know if halo 3 is coming out 2007. Something I forgot to say is that I used to play with the 360 for maybe about 6 to 7 Hours a day on the weekend or maybe more and I worked fine and my friend plays more than me and it works fine for him too but just in case it got hot my friend founded this thing in game stop for 20 dollars that you can put under it and it can keep it cool because is a fan.
