And delete this:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\hp8433.tmp
And try this:
disconnect your comp from the internet by unplugging net cable.
Boot comp to SAFE MODE.
Shutdown all your antivirus and antispyware programs.
Try to run smithfraudfix option 2
run with Ewido "all files" and complete system scan.
Save the raport.
Boot normally. Be sure that antivirus is runnig.
Plug net in.
Send answers and raports

no go on the SmitFraudFix. Followed all other instructions precisely. Unfortunatley my roomate rebooted the computer wihtout saving the Ewido log. Here's my problem. Theguardserivces.com is STILL my home page. There is a flashing icon on my task bar. It alternates between a green wheelchair symbol and a red voice symbol. I can't get either to go away. I did get rid of the guard services initially using your instructions, but something got me infected again. Please help me at least get rid of htose two specific things.

Boot comp. straight to safe mode and
delete that folder
C:\WINDOWS\system32\1024\
Run with CCleaner "cleaner" And "Issues" options
Launch ewido
Click Scanner > options and mark scan every file
Go back to scanner and choise "complete system scan"
save raport
Boot normally and send fresh hijack log and ewidos raport.
