all i can say is VERBATIM ... they work perfect with sm ... burn at 4x

Thanks i managed to get it to work but isn't this wierd my S.M 3.6 maneged to get FIFA World Cup 2006 to work with one Crappy Make on my ps2 can u explain and By the way Is sony good Enough after all they are made japan as in one of the thread i saw

I've backed up over 100 games so far with Sony 8x DVD-R and I've also used Sony DVD+R 16x. I seem to get the best results from the +r but I use a slimline ps2. I hear Verbatim (msp) is the best, but so far, I am doing good with Sony. Just remember to burn at half what the rated speed of the DVD is. I hear people saying 4x alot but I've had no problem with +r's rated at 16x if I burn at 8x.

yer thanks i just thought to buy some sony's and try them out but i think Verbatim and tayio yuden are better makes it's just that

as i said in the originally post somfin wierd happend i have some crappy dvd and thought i mite aswell back up FIFA WRLD CUP 06 wiv and some hw it worked but FIFA street 2 it didnt but tht was my last two so I got my sony DVD-R and burnt FIFA street 2 of course i know tht there is a patch to make the game work but i just get some error message evrytime i patch it saying incorrect iso and some nxt numbers and i heard tht i needed a ppf unpatcher if so can u lot help me.

Gnie has a ppf. unpatcher if you used his FIFA Street Version 1 patch. It'll correct all the Wrong LBA issues. Then use the version 1.1 of the patcher. Works great.

i was wondering if u guys can help me plz really,really urgent.

im searchin gthe net for some cheap Verbatim 8x DVD-R but Advanced AZO but they are very hard to get hold of a 8x disc they are lods of 16x disc and im scared and worried to buy them coz they seem to fast so can u just plz help me and give me advise thank you.

they have Verbatim 8X DVD+R with Azo dye
and also 8X DVD-R

hi, guys would u plz help me, i found tons of Verbatim DVD-R's and +r's
and i was wondering if u can use 16x discs instead of 8x discs coz there ain't much 8x Verbatims as of 16x so it would be appreciated if i could use it. in case ur wondering i will give u the specifecations of my PS2 and what S.M i use.

My PS2 is A U.K PS2 bought it 3 months ago and slimline version (v12).

My Swap Magic is 3.6 and using Tools magic keys 2 so there are my specifactions and plz post back A.S.A.P.

8x discs seems to be more successful for most people (burning at 4x), but if 16x is the only thing you can find then use that and try burning at 4x and 8x :)

i know that Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim is a good media to backup PS2 games but i just want to know that is TDK-R 16x is good media is well.

Hi, i know this is completley of the topic i started but i dont think i'll find any helpful ppl like u lot.

i have 2 questions and plz i really need u to anwser them for me its regarding P.C issues i have been suffering 4 the last year.

1.my P.C got infected with a virus and unfortunetly the whole of my Documents and Local Disk got wiped completley and i had two local disks and C; drive and a D;drive and the drive D; had my recovery files as the idiot i am i never knew so all of my Drive C and D got erased and i was in a situation tht i couldn't even log on to windows everything got wiped out. so as i said b4 i am an idiot of not putting my files of Drive D into a CD or DVD. and i had to use a different recovery disc to wipe out the virus and get evrything back to normal but. it wasnt a brand of mine. Coz i have A COMPAQ Presario AMD sempron and i had no choice then to use a Samsung recovery disc. so i was wondwring if any of u can help me plz it would be a great appreciance and dignity. plz plz dnt ignore my mess.


2. is on a lighter note of can Action Replay Max work wiv Swap Magic. coz i tryed it wiv Magic keys 2 but the thing is tht the lid of ps2 needs to be closed and magic keys 2 dont allow tht. but plz do anwser my curiousity.

Best thing you can do is get a copy of Windows XP pro and do a clean install.

Take the little key off the inside near the power button if you need to "open" the disc lid. It has sticky material underneath and should just stick right back on.
