You can delete all the .sys files from the floppy, like oakcdrom.sys, etc. Also, delete the config.sys file as well. These would only really be needed if you were actually using the boot disk to boot for a Windows 98 installation. Technically, you only need 5 files. (2 are hidden, but are created when the diesk was created).

You need io.sys, msdos.sys, and the 3 files you extracted. So, delete any folders on the floppy, along with config.sys and all the other .sys files and you should be OK.

@boxwrench...too quiet out here. Nice, but quiet. I prefer the city anyday.
