Did you try opening the folder where your AVIs are stored, highlight them and then drag and drop into NVE, this is all I do once NVE is open.

Gwendolin,.thankyou for all your help with Nero last weekend ..but will stick with Nero 6 until all the bugs of 7 are sorted out and Nero can offer a good product ...that works !..
