well a softmod is simple and cost effective just make sure after you softmod you back up your eeprom,C and E drive to your pc....incase anything happens because that a mistake a lot of people make....

what type of dvds do you have to use?
DVD-R or DVD+R? which one is better to use

Well if you know how to use Bitsetting then DVD+R is better and if your burner supports it....but i use DVD-R but high quality Verbatim,Taiyo Yuden and Ritek...

if i were one of the people that admitted to downloading a game i would change what u wrote right away.trust me , moderators get mad.they do cuz they dont want any thing to do with piracy. not trying to be a bit@# , just trying to help.
p.s. i was the dumb @$$ who stated the "downloaded games from bittorrent" thread. check it out if u want....if its still there.

So if it doesn't work should i assume that the torrent is corrupted?
b/c i have dloaded several games and did the exact same thing(They were in the 001,002,003 etc format) and when i popped it in my modded xbox it wouldn't read it. would it be the torrent or they type of dvd im using?

If it's doing it with more than one torrent, it's something you're doing, not the games.
Always use good media.

You should use DVD-R but if your xbox reads +R then good for you.....

See, that's your problem right there. Memorex is trash due to the dye they use. Get some Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden or Ritek G04 and you'll be fine.

i wasnt talkin bout u ridges , just tellin every1 ,anyway ive got need 4 speed undeground 2 and its in 38 files i think.i extrat the first 1 with WinRAR and i flash the game to my xbox but it doesnt work, what am i doing wrong?{p.s. im not writing to a dvd , im flashing to E:, games.}

ok i got it on with qwix,i hit play games from hard drive and the screen freezes at evox background.could the iso be corrupt?i was rreeddinn the file text includded with the game and it said dashboard updates were taken out , Could this be the Problem?

all you should have to do is upload the Xiso with qwix to the E Drive no extraction at all.....

Hi everyone, i TRIED EVERYTHING, im gunna end up killing myself i got a mod chip installed and i wasted about 30 dvd's trying to burn games and not one worked :@:@:@:@:@GRRRRRRRR so mad, please someone help me i would do anything, i installed all programs and tried everything, i think it might just b the games im downloading or something?:S PLEASE SOMEONE POST ME ANYTHING THAT COULD HELP, or ill end up with no hair on my head im dieing.!!!
