omg..everyone on the psp hacks forums were successful in doing the downgrade...i was stupid and updated to 2.71 thinking no one would ever come out with a downgrade so i was like what evs lol...anyways its prolly and 99% chance that if u follow the rules and dont be stupid ull be successful also

I was pretty nervous when i launched the downgrader too. Remember, you dont have to do it. Think positivtely, chances are all will go well. No guarentees here, but the people that made the downgrader reported a BETA 93% success rate. Now some people might not have copied files right, which results in a brick. So with the new version and if you do it right (double check everything, i mean everything), itll prolly be around a 97% rate of success.

You just really gotta ask yourself if you can take the risk. If you got the bestbuy warranty, do some research on that. I purchased it, but I dont know what makes it go invalid. Some people say anything can happen to the PSP and they'll replace it (not sure if thats accurate).

If you really really want the 1.50, I say go for it. If not, then be happy with what you have.


EDIT: Some people distrubite false files of the 1.50 stuff, and major sites like qj.net cant host them for legal reasons. I got mine off PSP-hacks.com so you should too, just a tip.
