if you get it straight from sony website it checks to make sure that you have your psp connected in usb mode or rthe pro duo mem stick in a card writer and uses a java applet to download it a nd directly install it to your memstick for you. so it doesnt give anything away about if it has a special install method - i.e. about whether it uses kxploit or not (didn't bother checking if it has the % and non % folders) should imagine it wouldnt be too difficult to pick it apart tho

i couldnt find it on net4psp but from sony it tells you the download is only 8mb and the 2.71 update is about 17mb so thats the only reason i went thru it. anyway does download and install with out forced update, just says you need to update system software in order to run if you select it in 1.5, but in devhook .44 it works straight off :)
