I told you I had heard a gameboot over 1MB would BRICK YOUR PSP! Wouldn't anyone else take that as a warning?! I was trying to help you out... I don't see how I provoked you, but again, I guess that's just your attitude.
Btw, Juiced really isn't that great at all. Just like the PS2 version. and I HATED the PS2 version.

it is true, it will brick your psp with psp set etc, but xfalsh allows 2.5 mb, i was only using the gameboot for the 2.71 firmware that i emulate with devhook, so that shouldnt cause any harm ( should it? lol) thanks guano, ill stay away from juiced then, im still waiting to get tomb raider lol

um... about Tomb Raider... yea... That game is really puzzling. I am at one point right now, about 30-35mins into the game in a room w/ three boxes and three pressure plates. You have to move the three boxes (actually, metal cages large enough for a Tiger) onto the three pressure plates. Not as easy as it sounds. Half of the room is sunk-in so there is no way that I can find to get the two remaining boxes on the lower-half to the upper-half, where the remaining two pressure plates are. I am kinda stuck there; spent a while trying to get it, but gave up b/c I wanted to try GTA:LCS w/ the NEW AND IMPROVED Cheat Device 1.0d. It's awesome! n e way, so I will try today to go and get a walk thru just to get past that one part in Tomb Raider.
NOTE ON TOMB RAIDER:
I will admit this is kinda perverse, but all gamers are alike in the respeKt that we appreciate hot GAME GIRLS. Anyway, whilst playing Tomb Raider, if you stand next to a wall and move the camera above Lara's head, you can look down her shirt! She has MAD cleavage! LOL DAMN, I wish she could be a real woman (who lives on my street...)
Btw, hex, I don't see any reason this thread should be closed. In no way has this thread gotten so out of hand that it can't be recovered and what if the dude who started this thread hasn't gotten the help he needs? He will go right ahead and start another one.
Can you keep this thread open so we can help the originator of it, mods? Thanks ;)

I can't actually say, but it makes sense. I mean, you couldn't get the game to work w/ the rip kit, Splinter Cell also wouldn't work w/ the rip kit. The times I got Splinter Cell to work by MANUALLY ripping, I couldn't get it to work very well. $ony is making it so games are becoming less and less rip-friendly. Plus, w/ the game devs getting smarter and making games in large ".dat" files and "ALL.PSP" files and schtuff... ??
You could always try again, but if it didn't work the first time, who knows if it will work the second time...
I would seriously recommend just playing the UMD. I kept Splinter Cell on my 4GB MS (all 1.30GB or w/e it was) and I was disappointed the whole time b/c it took up so much room... Same w/ Tomb Raider. If you have to keep that on your MS, you're not gonna be happy w/ 90% of your MS taken up when you get that 2GB, you know? UMD is fine. Just run @ 333 in good ol' DH. Sucks, but beats having a bad rip or the full ISO.

@ hodgins: Sorry, I misread your post. It's not the MAXCONSOLE rip kits; it's rip kits in general (it seems) nowadays that muck the gameplay up...

I can say I doubt it, b/c it wasn't meant for that file extension, but then again, hackers CAN make things pretty universal. I'm trying to remain positive for you buddy, but if I were a Magic 8 ball, I would say, "Outlook not so good". LOL
I really, really doubt it. I hope I'm wrong. Hell, if I am, let me know, would ya? (The reason I say it won't work is b/c when the developer of the rip kit made it, he told the app to look for certain files. The Tomb Raider files will not fall in line w/ the parameters...)
You can of course, always go to MAXCONSOLE and ask one of the members to create one... If they have nothing better to do (which they actually might - I think everyone is still messing w/ DevHook v0.44 and modifications)

ill just wait for a bigger memory stick :)
and a bit off subject, my friend brought his psp to school today, and he told me he had a 2gb stick, i told him to let me have a look at it and it was fake! lol you could easily see the sticker with the brands on lol, i think i ruined his day pmsl

That's ok. Tell him to look it up on the net. Most times, fake MSs are only slightly smaller but they still work and appear to have the same life expectancy...
This whole fake MS thing has gotten ppl thinking they made the worst investment of their lives when it's all right; again, they still work. A company is not going to sell something that doesn't work at all. It has to work - that's how they pass it off as the real deal and continue to sell them... (btw, Chinese companies are getting sued by $ony for this currently!)

i read that on pspupdates earlier, well what started it off was that he said he was losing memory on it. like hed put it into his pc and have 1942kb and it would keep decreasing pmsl, he asked do i know what it was, i had a look at it and told hime the bad news lol

Right i have Xflash V.11 and i have the blood slashing gameboot.PMF and bruce campbell from army of darkness saysin "Well hello Mr FancyPants" PSPboot sound how do i apply them? like where do i put these files ??? i cant find a tut and the read me jus tells you what it can do lol
