I completly agree game would be pointless without achivements.

i completely agree i just think some of the achievements are too hard to a fault. I mean its like in far cry them telling you to kill someone with a rare babanna u find in the woods,waht the hell? obviosuly im being sarcastic but some of the achievements are crazy hard like that.Then there are games that are too easy like nba 2k, i got all the achievements after playing one full length game and i go them all with one player(tracy mcgrady). here were his stats (that have to do wiht achievements). he had 18 three poniters, total of 148pts,22rebs,16assists, which gave me all the achievements which were.
score 140pts in a game
make 15 3pters with one player
get a triple double with a player
get 20 rebs with one player
score 50 pts with one player
now i know u dont have to do them all with one player but to mock the game i put it on the highest difficulty and played a 12minute quarter game just to see if i could do it all in one long ass game.College 2k game is the same essentially.madden is really easy except for the complete the 30 years in a frachise because the franchise sucked this yr for the 360.

lol, I beat NBA 2k6 with Detroit so I had Chauncey Billups for 3's and Ben Wallace for Rebounds. Plus I put the difficulty really low and the quarter length really long because I tend to suck at Basketball games even though I am an alright playing if I do say so myself :) As for Madden I spent a few hours simulating the Season Mode [I know, I know, I'm a cheapskate] because I only rented the game and I really wanted the 400 Gameerscore lol

aahh, i dont have the patience to sit there and simulate. Ive tried it but the damn free agency period takes so long its mindblowing and to have to do that 30 times id lose it.

I know what you mean, it took patience even the way I did it. I rented it from blockbusters so I had no late fees if I took my time getting it back. I did like 4 or 5 simulated seasons before I played the real game so if I played 2 times a days the 8-10 right there. Of course there was days when I didnt get to play but that is why I was glad I had no late fees. Overall it took me about 5 days to do and it was worth everyone bit of the 400 gamerscore.

yeh i definently have to get it the 400 points i mean. plus im a self proclaimed madden guru so i need to have all my points for MADDEN. and it will bum me up to 5750.

I don't know if you can see my sig, but if you can you can see my Gamercard with my points. You get gamer points every time you unlock an achievement in a game. Ex. I just blocked a field goal in NCAA football and I got 25 points (I think) for it. I got 200 points for beating Call of Duty 2 on normal. It's stuff like that. Every game has 1,000 points to give. They are only for bragging rights. Having too many points looks a little bad to me, because it looks like you don't do anything but play video games when you have over 20,000 points at this point.

Fight Night Round 3 is so freaking hard!!, Actually I think it is just because I dont know any of the punches so it is pretty much a button masher hoping I will win. I am right now on a 6 fight losing streak! That game makes me extremely frustrated. Anybody else find that game hard or do I just suck at it?

Nah, you just kind suck now. Work behind the jab. Set up bigger punches, dodge and work on parrying punches and counter. I'm about around 335-185 on Live. I'm not the greatest online, but I'm pretty decent. I haven't played much since I hacked my firmware a couple of weeks ago, but it's been my favorite game so far.

- When you hack the firmware does anything that has to do with the look of the xbox change? Like the Dashboard for instance?
- Is there any way if of telling that you have hacked the firmware other than it being able to play backed up games?
- I have a Hitachi drive, would you recommend hacking the firmware or waiting until another method comes out? Im might have gave it a try but I have been having problems with my 360 and had to send it to MS for repairs. I don't think it would be too smart to void my warranty right about now just in case I have any more problems.
- Also, Just wondering what would happen if MS put out an update that found out you were using the hacked firmware on your Xbox? Would you be able to reverse it so it would be like you haven't changed it in the first place? They have been asked what they have planned on doing and had said

BTW, Mind if I add you as a friend on Live? I have to lengthen up my Friends List so when my Xbox gets back from MS I can play online again. They have supposedly sent me a box that they want me to send it to them in, This was a few days ago I will hopefully get it soon. I dont undertstand why I cant just use a regular box I have laying around the house.

Sure you can add me. It's pretty clear MS can't tell if you did the hack. Will they ever be able to? Who knows? You dash stays the same. They've had since march to come up with something and nothing yet. They squashed that bootable kiosk disc in just 1 month. If they can figure it out I'm sure they'd ban you if they see you with it on Live. My record playing ranked fights on Fight Night Rnd. 3 is 335 wins and 185 losses. I've flash both a Hitachi and Samsung. I found the Samsung was a bit more actual work to do, while the Hitachi a bit more confusing to get working. I think that about covered it all.
