i finally succeed in installing my new lcd screen. but for some reason my controls is going haywire after the process. the analogue stick seems to be always going towards the lower right. any suggestions?

pop it out and clean it a bit, like the inside of the connector. SOmething might be leaning it towards the left.

this happens with my ps2 controller, make sure it is perfectly aligned when you screw it back on.

well i cant be sure that its perfectly alligned but even after i took off the analogue on the faceplate it does the samething. so it isnt because something was stuck there

oh is the analog controller, inside the faceplate, is that screwed in all the way, maybe it is causing it to be crokked by default.

well if you remove the analog nub little chip theres a little donut shapped plastic peice, if its not there it could couse the nub to move without you wanting it to

i unscrewed the analogue chip thing and tried to balance it but i didnt see any rubber bands underneath it and i dont want to use too much force to lift the chip unless im sure that its the rubberband that s causing the problem (which i dont think it is)

i unscrewed the 2 scerws that are on the chip but the chip wont come off. seems lieke the chip is also attacked to this clear plastic ring next to it. should i try to take off the chip by removing the clear plastic rings?

nevermind, i got it. and yes there does seem to be a thin plastic band underneath the chip. i just took it apart and reassemble it but same problem. i personally dont think its the problem with the analogue stick itself but probably with the wiring. perhaps the wiring got messed up when i was installing my screen.
