So if I get the replay for gba/ds then I can add the hex code for the car and that makes the seed and then I can put it in my game? Thanks everyone.

The AR MAX DUO for GBA/DS is something you can upload your gamesaves to your computer with. You need to use pakixd's guide to know how to do it. I'm not too sure if he put this in, but you can't do save changes between steps. You also need to download animalmap to edit your save once you get it on to the computer.
*(hint)* put the part that you can't save changes between steps in your guide, pakixd.

Okay I have a saved game on my PC I open the map editor and do whatever changes I want and now my question is how I add the code for gracie car so that it will show up on the saved game and then IF I do accomplish this how do I get the saved game with gracies car back to my DS?

How do you make a seed to carry in your pocket that you can drop in the spot you want to on your game?

Ok, use pakixd's guide (post 1). after you use it, use this: Put down any item in animalmap in advanced world edit and it should say $#### (# being a number). Open your calculator (on the computer) and set it to scientific mode. click hex. type the $#### number, and then click decimal. that is the number you put in the place of the decimal as shown in pakixd's guide.
and it only needs to say animalmap, or whatever you renamed the program to.

Not a problem.. glad you guys found out how to do things through that guide :)
Just a note to everyone who used this guide or plans to use it, I have changed where it is located. It is no longer at the previous location, and if you go there it simply gives you a link and redirects you to the new site.
Check out the new page at http://nds.dfwhyundais.com , if I ever have any more tutorials that will be where they are posted.
Thanks! Oh, and please click an ad (other than the yahoo bar if you go to the old site) if you get a chance to show your support :P haha

personally use M3 miniSD (v2) and Passcard3.. its the most compatible combo but also relatively expensive (around $100 for the bundle)

Its up again, sorry about that. I changed servers and forgot to set it back up.
Animal crossing map editor v1.6 is much better, as you can get a few of these items without even having to hack it. It also doesn't filter it out, so v1.6 will be a better choice than 1.4a
