but he's not, i actually convinced him to let me have it.

i taught him so sometimes i can convince him to let me have stuff.

i'm gonna sell my 4600 for 1k, and use that untill i sell it.

i'll miss the dual core, but i'll eventually get a fx-60.

-----

how do i become a AD addict?

and how do i quote people?

-----

also, i noticed you have a x1900, how nice is it? i know its nice, but it is truly above and beyond everything else? i've been trying to get one for under $100, but so far have been unsuccessful. i know i'll get one sooner of later, but part of me wants to go over $100 just cause i want it. i'm gonna be using those dual 6800's, in your opinion, should i be happy with what i'm getting, or should i go for the x1900?

The X1900XT is great, very good performance and they're quite cheap to legitimate consumers now, better and cheaper than 7900GTXs... I'd prefer an X1900 over two 6800s, since in some games dual graphics aren't recognised, and in most others, two 6800s will struggle to meet an X1900XT's performance level. Two 6800 Ultras may be different but they're not, I can see that. To quote people, look up on the reply page.

Remove the spaces from before the word quote to use it. To become an AD addict you need to have posted so many messages. However, don't go spamming threads to get your post count up, or you'll be banned before you can say "cheater".

I knew you were gonna say something like that. I'll get one, but I'm not paying more than $100. They'll come down like everything else.

And by then they'll be something better. There will be very soon actually:

There we have an X1950XT-X running a higher clocked R580 core using 2Ghz GDDR4 Memory. It also employs HIS' revolutionary ICEQ3 cooler as the stock cooler to be provided by all manufacturers.

this is true, but i'm not concerned about having the best, 2nd and 3rd best is fine by me. besides, its gonna be awhile before they have something thats leaps and bounds above the x1900. i bet that new card is just gonna have better core and clock speed, not more pipelines or pixel shaders. i'll be happy with my x1900 for $100.

That's right, but the X2800 soon to be released will have 64 pixel shaders...
