ok listen for the noise go into windows explorer and hit F5 to refresh the drive list and see if it pops up then.

tried that many many times

i also tried using diff usb ports and it didnt work for any of them

u might want to try blowing the dust out of the usb ports. and also plugging it into a port you know works. ie take out something that works positively and swapping it into a different spot. seeing if the psp works in that port and also seeing if a confirmed working device will work in a different port.

mabey your usb needs a slower speed source and you might need a usb cable speed reducer

either dodgey usb drive{can happen}or need to try with a diffirent usb drive

they r built in ports on diff parts of the comp and i tried all 8 of em or maybe 6 its 8 or 6 too lazy to count >_<
