Now I'm confused...

You can't have male and female mini B can you ? Mini B is Mini B so if you attach the adapter isn't that what you would have ?

i meant that the standard usb connecter cant plug into the same connector it would have to be female connector like on your PC.

lol, I think we are going round in circles here.

The idea was to have a mini B at each end wasn't it ?

If you convert the USB A end of a standard USB A to Mini B cable with the adapter you would have mini b at both ends. I'm not sure where the male / female / PC issue comes into it.

The adapter is designed to fit a USB A connection and convert it to a mini B.

it would work except for the fact that these two wont plug into each other.

or get 2 psp cables ( you can get them on ebay for next to nothing) and chop off the usb 2.0 bit off the one and on the other chop off the mini b, then rewire them so you are left with one :)

or buy 2 usb A to mini B cables and use the male to male connector to join them. Though that might be a bit long then :)

I have some stupid cable from my Ti-84 with usb mini b and A on then ends. I am going to chop of the A part and get another b from a cheap cable.
