I've never bought Verb single layer media just the top notch +R DL's. Bought two 20 packs of the white inkjet printables but the 10 pack Microcenter deal os a good one. If you have a Microcenter in your city (as I do) then don't, repeat Don't pass it up! The only reason I didn't buy them is they aren't inkjet printable & I like inkjet printable media. But then inkjet printables (If your out of ink) work very good with CD/DVD marking pens as do the ones with label data already on them. Besides I don't print images anyhow on the printable discs. Just text...

Ditto to that thanks. Got in my two 50 packs today. Nice deal, no shipping for some odd reason also. I won't complain about that.

I just ordered some DL's. I've never tried DL media before because I always use single layer media, but I've heard nothing but great things about Verbatim DL media and for a 10 pack at $14.99, I couldn't pass it up. Great deal!

Where'd you get 'em for $14.99? I was just looking and couldn't find them. Newegg's the only online store I will not buy from, but I really looked around and have had a hard time finding a good sale price in the last few weeks.
-Do you believe you own your computer and shouldn't be told what you can run and do? Then say *NO* to Microsoft Vista!
-Since half the questions here involve media problems, here ya go: Only use Verbatim or Taiyo-Yuden discs (get your TYs from Rima.com, not Supermediastore or meritline). Forget the rest, no matter what "brand" they sell under. Always burn at 4x speed regardless of the speed rating of this discs or your drive. If you have burn problems with these then you have to update your drive's firmware. For double-layer discs, only use Verbatim DVD+R DL and burn them at 2.4x speed.
