Do I always have to be at my computer to run the ISO/CSOs via USB or does it support only through the memory stick so I can bring it on vacations?

well you have to connect the USB to something besides your PSP dont you?
the "play through USB" is meant for people who want to play games off images that are located on their computer, not the memory stick (too small stick for example)
