At the Office Max nearest me the manager stated that the customer had to bring in a copy of the web page with the special listed before they would honor the online price. I thought that was ridiculous but they were insistent.

I did and pricematched them to SStaples where they had thousands of MIJ Yudens under the Sony brand. I only bought 4 packs. How much can you buy? 100 discs will last me a year.

Hey ALAND, why don't you send some of those MIJ Yudens down here to me in North Louisiana. You can't find them down here, heck, you can't even hardly find a store that sells any DVD media down here...LOL

I know the Staples near me has a few 25 packs of 8x MIJ Sonys, so if I don't find any at K-mart, then Staples it is.

LABOY- I 've heard of it ! Don't Feel bad ! We don't Have any Kmarts Left anywhere fairly close to where I'm at ( West of Baton rouge ) I think the Nearest One is in Gonzales & Then New Orleans ? Superwallys We got Out The WAzzoooooo !!!!!! & a Couple of OFFICEDEPOTS , A BestBuy , CircuitCity ,ect... Most of My media Is Either from Best Buy , Officedepot or Online ! though the last 100Verbatims I bought came from SamsClub ( 8xDVD+R's) I buy wherever & whenever the sale prices are as long as the reatiler is reputable whether online or Brick & mortar! Just kidding About the Banjo players LOL! They're Quite a Few of them around here too ! In some the nearbye Towns & villages ! I almost sat in on a trial- Jury Duty ! about 2 years ago & about 50% of the people in the prospective jury pool were Either Related to the Accused , The Family of the Individual who was Murdered , Or too the Prosecuting attorney ? No S*** !!!!!! or They Knew the district attorneys Family or worked for them!!! Sheez!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All I have here in "Smallville" is an Office Depot and Wallyworld...which mostly sale Memorex (enough said there). Nearest Best Buy, Office Max, or Circuit City is in Shreveport about 80 miles away. So that is where I pick up my media for most part. I have a daughter in Memphis and one is Indianapolis, so when we visit grandkids, I hit all the stores in those big cities.I still have a good supply of 8X MIJ Yuden T002 bought from Circuit City before they ran out of the MIJs. Also Verbs are easy to pick up in S'Port. I am not hurting for media, just can't do that "impulse" buying had more stores been a mile or two away.

there's always Online - wait for the free shipping though ! I'm not as bad Here Baton Rouge ( College town LSU) Is the Nearest Big City and anyplace I go for media is an 18- 30 something mile drive ( BESTBUY 30 Miles Oneway ! I usually Make a day of it If I'm Going to town - Movies , Dumpster dive ( If possible ) Go shopping !! eat out ( sometimes ) If your gonna be in town & burn gas might as well Get the most out of it ? Right? I'm about Like you I 'm Not hurting For media But I still Like to buy a spindle or two when I can ( sales ) But I suppose I'll wait for another good sale before I buy somemore? My Circuit City, Office Depot, and Best Buy are 45 mins away, there is a K-mart in town, and Staples in the next town over. I think there is an Office Max around 40 mins away.

LOL! seriously I just Look at everyone as a friend That can help and try to do the same !That's about all you Can ask From life anyway ? The most important Thing I learned here ! is research ! if your having a problem with a movie or whatever odds are someone elsehas had it too & found the fix ! Although even a blind pig finds an acorn now and then ! Flailing away blindly can be expensive ( Even Though media pries have dropped !!! ) I Laerned that there are three ways to do anything ! 1. Hard way ,2. Easy way , 3.Wrong way !!! And research helps you do it the Easy way Right away !
