Hopefully you do not think that this is a post to act like a noob, but I digress.
Well 1Warlock, if you really are a member of Demonoid, I would really be thankful if there would be a way to set me up with a account. You see, I have been looking for a program which would allow me to convert AVI files and be able to burn them onto one full disc, since I am a major Anime fan. I already found a video joiner program, but it is just that I don't have enough money at all to purchase a copy of 'Convert x to DVD' sadly.
I searched Google, and I was finally able to find a torrent on Demonoid. I tried to download the torrent full-hardly (because I'm a leecher of some sorts sadly; I still seed greatly to some torrents I like -''-), and it seems as though there was a registration phase which is set on the site for new members to join.
From what it appears to be on the main page, they ironically are going to change the date to a 3 to 4 day period in a month, from their regular schedule of every Friday on that month, so that has been very confusing to me. If they just allowed account openings yesterday, then I'm screwed sadly. It would be very helpful if you would be able to contact me through my EMail, **removed**, about you adding me as a member.

Well Ineed, it looks like you can send me a PM "private message" and looking at the tabs at the top, it appears there is a tab for doing that. My thanks to ddp for pointing that out for you. You didn't say what vst you're looking for. And no I don't look at your post as trying to act like a "noob" I don't judge people by their postings. It doesn't matter to me whether you're new or an old timer, I have helped everone from one end to the other. Let me know what you're looking for.

Doesn't expecting the unexpected make the unexpected expected? And therefore mean you're expecting the expected which was the unexpected until you expected it?

I direct this to Creaky and ddp regarding an "invite" I don't want to get anyone in trouble or banned, including myself. The question is, if say something were to be sent outside of the forum would that be ok? or would I be walking a fine line with that? Just wondering, as long as something were done outside of forum and website. I look forward to your reply/s thank you for your time.

the best advise I can give is as follows:
(1) get a torrent client( like Utorrent ) install it on your computer
(2) start searching for the stuff you WANT, at the other sites.
Many of the torrents found at other sites originated from Demonoid, and are being "tracked" by demonoid.
(3) share/seed, don't just leach(download)
By establishing yourself this way, when Friday registration time comes for Demonoid, you'll already have an established record/fingerprint...and you'll be more likely to be "accepted" at Demonoid.( Remember..they are tracking all their torrents->even if you're not a member and able to download directly from the source)

go to http://www.torrentpond.com/ it takes all the torrent websites

Hi Mike,
I think you might be walking a fine line with this post per the rules, but the information is appreciated "I haven't even heard of this portal" and thank you for the info. Yes I am a member of Demonoid, and unfortunately i don't have "anything" to send from them. They are however open every Friday for resistration, and you can download "New" postings without being a member. You do have to be a member to download anything older. The system will let you know if something is to old for you to download. But again any new postings can be downloaded by anyone with out being a member. I don't think many are aware of this, I found out by accident one night "before becoming a member" I apologize to those that think I have "something" to send out, but please check the time that they are open on Fridays and convert time to your zone and keep trying. It can be done, it just takes some patience. Also you can send me a PM, and let me know what you're looking for. I might be able to help you get it.

ConvertX to DVD = 39.99 USD
Sony DVD Architect + TMPEGEnc = $81.98 USD
A bit out of his price range isn't it?

Maybe I misunderstood you, but what exactly are you recommending to him? Because first you say to check out eMule, and I understand that. Your telling him/her to use eMule to find anime, that I understand. But then you go on to recommend TMPEGEnc and Sony DVD Architect. Now if he can't afford Convert X to DVD how in hell is he going to be able to afford a close to $90 program like TMPEGEnc?

Here is a link from AD for DivXtoDVD. It's the free version of ConvertXtoDVD and works almost as well in my book. Of course it's the older version and not quite as "good" but it'll do donkey it'll do. :)

you think anime is the only thing you can find on eMule...? *wink*wink* ^-^
and if you still don't understand, let me just say that eMule is quite proficient at handling LARGER downloads... ;) ;)
