i have had tone of problems with hp laptop, but I have never had a desktop from them (all of mine have been custom). It looks like gatway has the best system for gaming right now.
Mabey you should try and build a computer?

FaugYou, a mouse manages to AROUSE you? WOW. ANyway I've heard Gateway support is crap. I've had Compaqs ans HPs and they did provide very good support if stuff broke down. They would send me parts ahead of time, which means AFTER I got the new part I would have to send the old one back in.

they did the same for me, with a battery and cd drive.
One of the problems i had with my cd drive was because of the crap ware they pre-install.

I think the point we're trying to make here is that any off the shelf PC you can buy is pretty shoddy compared to something you can build, or at least spec yourself. Find a custom PC retailer if you want a PC that's a little bit better than the usual.

and if you build it yourself you will save a lot! At the minimum $100 but usually more, alot more with high end computers.
here is a $2000 dollar future shop computer:

you could make it for 300-600 less

Currently i have a gift card (future shop gift card) which a close friend of mine gave to me worth 200$ so i think that it would be better to buy it from future shop. Out of those four computers that I choose, which one would be the best to buy? (the $2000 is way too expensive)

Well, you say that, you could probably save even more than that buy speccing it up for yourself.
We've already been over which one's the best.

In terms of all aspects (speed, gaming, quality, ease of use) which computer would be the best? I am looking for one that is fast and also good for gaming but can multitask and is fairly easy to use as well as set up.

you can buy your graphics card (mabey hard drive) at future shop, just see if they do price matches then you can show them a price from newegg or Canada computers. Then you still get to use your $200 gift card.
That is what I would do.

ok, but here is what it would cost to build it (CND):
Case - Thermaltake Matrix VX VD3000BWA - $54.99
PSU - Thermaltake TR2 420W Power Supply -$57.99
Motherboard - Asus P5K-C -$163.99
CPU - Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 -$330.00
RAM - Patriot 2GB Eased Latency - $109.99
Graphics - BFG GeForce 8500GT -$106.00
Hard drive - Seagate SATA 3.0Gb/s 500GB - $115.00
Optical - LG super multi $40.00
OS - Winows VIsta Premium $120.00
Sub: $1098.95
Tax: 153.85
Total: $ 1252.80CND (future shop:$1367.99CND)
(keep in mind i am using a motherboard that is way to much)
You could save by:
Use asus P5K-SE save: $44.00 (very good motherbaord, more then you need)
Use other ram (still 2 gb)save $10-20
Use a different case: $10-20
I am sure you will be happy with the futureshop computer, but i just wanted to give you an idea of what you can build for yourself.

Oh and there is no overclocking with the futureshop computer. Also Gateway probably uses value parts to keep the costs down.

In essence, comparing two PCs with the SAME specs, a futureshop one will be slower, cheaply made, and nowhere near as upgradeable. A custom-ordered one will look better, run better, last longer and be far more upgradeable, assuming you do it right.

its still possible to use your gift cards, and build your own computer, you just buy a few parts there (but get them to price match a store like Canada Computers)
Here are some parts you can buy at future shop.
-Speakers
-Video card (get a price match)
-Hard drive (price match)
-Keyboard and mouse
-CD/DVD drive (again price match)
-external hard drive
-fans
-USB stuff
-Add on cards (like USB/Firewire)
-Floppy drives (price match)
What not to buy:
-memory
-power supplys
I dont know what parts hp/gateway are using, what I would do is ask to look inside the case (they let you do this). Look at the motherboard and ram, and video card.
You will get way better parts if you build it.
