I am also hopelessly stuck on the level with Aerith after I defeated Angeal. He's actually a beast with wings now. I collected two items thus far. One is part of the policeman's helmet and another item was a camera. I traveled the entire market, playground and Shinra building and back to Aerith, but can't seem to progress to the next stage. Am I suppose to find anymore items? I've already cleared most the missions. I would really like to finish this game. Any help would be apprecitated.

there is another two thing you need find 1st is the stick where your money got stolen by the kid 2nd is the tyre talk to a person who stand on beside the car "not in shinra"after that the kid will tell you he lost the soldier helmet and now go back to the place you found helmet and meet with aerith

Yeah!! Just completed the game tonight! Kind've sad that Zack had to die at the end leaving Cloud to continue the legacy into Advent Children. This is certainly the BEST game for the PSP!

same as me althought i haven't finish the game yet...but i'm sure this game is definitely one of the best game that psp ever had...tis is what we want on psp...i hope other game developer should learn from square enix..what we want is good graphic design and good stories for RPG.1.8gb umd is a very big potential to develop a good game for a portable console...but some game developer bringing the shit to our psp..tis kind of feeling is like been cheated..this is my second psp when ff7cc arrive..the 1st one i sold it because i feel very disapointed for the game on previously....

i'm using 3.52 M33-4 for this game, experiencing very slow game scenes and play load.
do i have to go into 3.71 to get a smooth gameplay ?? or could it be the iso fault?

Whenever I try to save, it gets corrupt. When I try to save over the corrupted file, it freezes and turns off after a few seconds.
Formatted flash1 using recovery menu twice, formatted memory stick, upgraded to newest 3.90 M33-2. Still doesn't work. What the heck is wrong? It only happens for this game I think.

i have the iso of crisis core in english and im running it on my custom firmware 390m33-3 psp, much easier than trying to work out the japenease and i dont even need umd:P
psp running 3.90 m33-3 with 1.5 kernel:P

CC's story was decent... they could've made it a little longer. I was very very disappointed with the last boss, but the sephiroth battle was definitely the climax of CC.

Been playing for a bout week and a half don't understand how you upgrade zack's ablities. playing english version. my first final fantasy foray (so take it easy with me) made mistake and erased my first save (got stuck fighting angeal) made no adjustments, did no missions, still beat genesis on 2nd playthrough can't get past him.cause I did some missions need major help from anyone if you do explain it to me like you would a six year old to paraphrase Denzel in Philadelphiia!!

ok well basicaly zack levels up when he feels like it and his abilities go up when you level; up.
its all about the dmw in the corner when it hits 777 with 2 charactors the same either side you level up.
the game levels you up fairly and evenly as you play through if you want to level up fast then you have to do the missions.
psp running 3.90 m33-3 with 1.5 kernel:P

thanks for the reply adam, but I still don't get\understand what you are sayin. I mean I get the levels up by himself part what I don't get is that after completing certain things\missions you get items such as block, block poisons, jump, etc but I can't access these items for Zack to use before getting into a battle and i'm now getting smoked in any tough fight or boss battles. (as previously stated can't get by Genesis) he uses some spell or something where I can't move or block. whereas before when i did no missions at all only thing I did was basically dodge what I could and block everything else and beat him without much sweat

go into the equipment menu, and change the equipment. those things you earn from missions are either items, materia, or equipment.
you'll start out with 4 materia slots and 2 equipment slots, but after doing certain missions and going along the storyline, you'll unlock the last two materia and equipment slots
