Could someone please tell me how they made a working backup of this game.
I read the disk using DVD Decryptor, then inserted the DNAS ID into the ISO file using WINDIP, then burned the disk using Alcohol 120, but I still get to the same part in the game where it stops loading.
Help.

Just tried to rebulid the entire ISO read from the original, but only got an ISO half the size of the original, is this supposed to happen?

when rebuilding an Iso file. the file will be smaller. Most of the time it's half time smaller then the original. So thats good.
FOR THE LAST TIME. REBUILT THE GAME SO IT WON'T GET STUCK LOADING A GAME. THEN ADD THE DNAS TO PLAY ONLINE.
Then burn the image with dvdecrypter at 4x speed
Its not that hard to do. Just follow the tutorial on this site.

Works!! After wrting that last reply, I burned it and a success, good tutorial. Just curious as to why the rebuilt ISO is smaller thats all.

Please, look first to the PAL DNAS topic before you ask a DNAS. There is already a FIFA 08 DNAS on that forum.
The game is 4.7 GB here, didn't rebuilded the game. Why you should rebuild the game if you can burn that ?

I'm very new to this so I hope this isn't a stupid question but I'm playing a PAL version of FIFA 2008 on an NTSC PS2 (using X + triangle and right to switch) and I tried using WinDip to patch the ISO and everything burns correctly and starts up but, just like the people above, it's freezing after the progress bar reaches full. It's not even freezing so much as stopping. The music continues playing but everything stops responding. Should I be using an NTSC DNAS instead of a PAL DNAS? If so then does anyone have the NTSC version because I can't find it in the forum thread.

No, it has nothing to do with online play. When I go to play a single player game or go into practice mode or anything. All of the menus are working though. I can change controls, settings or anything with no problem until I try to start a game.

I already did look in the PAL section for it when i first posted this thread but nothing was there for Fifa 08.

BUT NOTE THIS EA FIFA 08 IS NOT GOOD YET EVEN WITH THE ORIGINAL CD BECAUSE IN THE MAIN MANU ONLINE I GOT DISCONNECT SO MANY TIME JUST NOT TO ME TO ALL MY FRIENDS THIS HAPPEN USING THE ORIGINAL CD SO I THING PEAPLE WASTE THEY MONEY WITH THIS GAME ..

hey guys on the subject of fifa 08...
i have been playin my backup of this game online with no probs...
but now for some reason when i go online i am being disconnected 3 or 4 times before it logs on properly.. then when i find some1 to play against.. as soon as it goes to loading screen with the players online stats the game is freezing and makes a humm stroke bee noise....!!
ive tried my everything from internet settings router settings and tried game on 3 consoles..!
any ideas as to why this has happened cuz im goin crazy...

weel ikonw why you get disconnected and you game get freez , the problem is ea sucks all my friend are using original fifa08 cd and they have the same problem thats why they dont like to play online ea make peaple waste mony wiht this game well in usa ps2 connection is not good
