No not at all, the 8800GT is an incredibly powerful card for the price. I can run a large number of games on max at 2560x1600, far higher than the resolution of your monitor, and I only have an X1900XT. The 8800GT is nearly twice as fast as my card.

The BFG 680i board is supposed to be really good. However, there are good revisions and not so good revisions. TigerDirect don't say which revision that is. From the reviews it seems pretty good though.

You won't find a good 600W modular PSU for $50. You'll want to be spending around $120 on one. Never skimp on a power supply.

This seems like a good enough power supply.

Hmm, not a bad unit, but the QC doesn't seem quite as good with Ultra PSUs as other brands.

This one. Unfortunately Tiger Direct's range of Power supplies is atrocious.

Probably the one in the middle, but I personally don't like any Ultra power supplies. The XVS seems one of the better ranges, but there have been severe technical issues with a large number of Ultra's units.
