Need unlock code from fido, can anyone help? I tried on Ebay and apparently they only have the unlock codes for AT&T phones. Anyone know how to unlock this phone from the Fido Network? (I would be happy to pay someone on Ebay to do it, I just need to be directed to the right person)

Hi all
I am having major drama trying to unlcok my phone - apparantly there are ways to do it online but I am just not smart enough to figure it out
Can any body please help me?
I have a Sony Ericsson Z310a. The service provider is Fido in Canada (owned by Rogers) and the number EIEM (or something like that) is 35467001-170993-0-40.
If anyone can figure this out I'd be so grateful!! Until I get this unlocked, I have no phone :(

Just want to let everyone know paid www.instantunlockcodes.com to unlock my sony ericsson z310a and received the following message back
Hi,
Sorry I have been unable to generate the correct unlock code for your mobile. There are so many mobile out there sometimes the firmware on certain versions mean I can't generate the code.
I have sent your details over the accounts team who will send you a refund. Although normally quicker please allow up to 7 days for the refund to get back into your account.
Once again I apologise for not being able to get the correct code for your mobile. Your only option may be your network operator or a local shop who can unlock via a cable.

I just got off the line with ATT. I live in Canada, called the international contact #, explained I live in Canada and need an unlock code for my phone z310a. I gave them the IMEI and after a little time, (it took about 15 minutes) they gladly gave me the unlock code for my phone. Don't pay anyone for this service! They are all predators trying to capitalize on your lack of knowledge! This is a very easy and FREE procedure, they will walk you through it if you don't know how to do it, but I'm telling you this is FREE to do and only takes a phone call to customer service.
