I've not heard that, but it wouldn't surprise me if I found out that's true. I assume you've returned these boards to where you bought them from? Don't do what I do and leave them all lying around!

Well lol i did the stupid mistake of buying them of EBAY lol and im an idoit for not spotting in the sellers agreements saying no returns hmmmm i wonder why LOL so im just flogging them on ebay i have 5 people watching them soo i should get some money on them i spose. i think i am going to go intel now, is the q6600 a good processor?

The Q6600 is an excellent CPU, it just needs to be paired with a decent board. The P35-DS4 is a high grade board, but a reasonable amount of its not insignificant cost is so it can run ATI Crossfire, you'd be better off with one of these:

That effectively does the same job.
Good choice on the store by the way, I've been dealing with Aria for quite some time and have always been relatively impressed.

It's effectively the same board I've been using since Autumn last year without any issues. The only reason why I'm changing it is because I've effectively got a spare graphics card lying around so I'm going to go with crossfire.
The board will be compatible with the Q6600.
