Con
"To swindle (a victim) by first winning his or her confidence; dupe"
Well R4 - was the best so they call it the same or similar name
That gains your confidence
Swindle - most are cr*p look at the forums
So guess what - it meets the criteria of a con! So what is the problem. If it was any good they would call it something else.
M3, Cyclo, AceKard, EZ Flash even DSTT

Hi all,
I've been reading through the various posts relating to DSi compatible cards and after much reading I boiled down my decision to either the AceKard 2i or the EZ Flash Vi. It seems the AceKard 2i has no Real Time Saving, but does have a spring slot and a fast menu. The EZ Flash Vi does have Real Time Saving but no-spring loaded slot and a slower menu than the AceKard 2i. I was going to go for the AceKard 2i for the faster menu until I came across another card called the iTouch2 and then a DSTTi and then a SuperCard DS ONEi (DSOne-i) and now I'm completely confused and back to square one!!
Can anyone post to a link where I can see a review/comparison of the various cards?
I also read that there is an M3 Real i card coming out by the same people who make the iTouch2. Why would they produce two cards? Which one is better and what are the functinal differences between the various cards? I've found the DSi compatible AceKard 2i for $18 whereas the SuperCard DS ONEi (DSOne-i)is twice the price at $39.
Can anyone shed some light for me?
Yours sincerely, confused.com!!!

Well confused.com
So are most people.
It is early days with the DSi and most are focusing on - does it work. The Acekard and EZ Flash are both working and getting good reviews.
The M3 team make 2 cards at the moment iTouch and M3 Real, the iTouch is the cheaper choice with fewer features than the Real, so it is safe to assume that this will be the case with the i versions.
All the ones you have chosen are good choices, it comes down to personal preference.

Hi Kittymat,
Thanks for the advice. Seems like the SuperCard DS ONEi (DSOne-i)is the most feature rich and future proof (if such a thing really exists) but the EZ Flash Vi card works well and is half the price.
If you were buying one Kittymat, which one would you go for? I need to get 3 for my son and a couple of newphews and whilst I'm able to drag and drop files and follow basic instructions I'm far from an expert so ease of use is very important!!
Thanks Kittymat.

Wel in that case buy all three the same!
I would probably go for the AceKard - this is based on nothing more than it has already had a kernal update (originally it did not work on languages other than English) has had a lot of reviews that have said it works.
Unscientific - however whichever you choose by the nature of what the product does - if it works it will be great - in these early days go cheap, they may be stopped at some point.

I would get the DSONE-i from www.dealextreme.com for $23 delivered. all flash card works the same way, download firmware, unpack, copy and paste (or drag&drop), add some games and its good to go.

One more quick question. Will the DSONE-i also work with the standard DS lite?

Same here. Got the DS Onei card today and it works 100% on both the DSi and the DS Lite.
Quick question. the box contains two USB cradles, one for the micro SD card and a triangular one which the DS Onei card fits into. What does the triangular cradle do? I plugged it into my machine both with and without the micro SD card inserted and on neither occasion did my laptop recognise it as a drive.
