if you have ".001, .002, .003 ..." select all the files and extract the files to whatever folder you want, it will extract anything to that folder, if you have more .001, .002, .003 do the same till you get whatever it is in WinRAR

So many games, so little time.

erm, if it has the pre-extension "ts" (e.g. name.ts.000, name.ts.001) It's actually a raw transport stream, in which case you're actually looking to do: "COPY /B *.* name.ts" or similar..
Just something to bear in mind...
lets just get this str8 tho, your saying you get a mpeg-1 file out of a VCD image when using iso buster? you dont get a dat file? and yes of course you extract using m2f2 mpeg frames or the file you extract would be 1 fat error, so enlighten me I seem to be doing something wrong ;/

LOL believe it or not -- you're both right. To confuse people, VCDs come as both DAT and MPG files -- both are encoded the same way and play in the same manner. Depending on the image, one person will get a DAT and the other person, a MPG file. You can use either file to burn a new VCD or play in a DVD program :)
if you find that you've downloaded a folder ie bittorrent and its full of winrar files.

all you do is double click any rared file ie number 1

make sure you have enough room to extract file

once winrar pops up highlight the file, do not double click it it will put in temp folder for preview.

after highlighted click the extract 2 button

then pick a folder where you can find it

click done extract enter whatever starts extraction process

as far as watching bin cue files with out burning get daemon tools

older versions dont have adds

mount the cue image with daemon

once mounted open up windows explorer find the virtual drive for daemon and play file, if you want to extract the mpeg1 or mpeg2 files wich ever it is all you do is drop and drag or reburn

ty for any help

for .001, .002 files I've always used a program called HJSplit to rejoin them. Usually I find these files for spanish stuff and I've never had a problem with HJSplit. Its free and small and rather simplistic.

TYG03 for me

I downloaded a movie in 8 parts (.001-.008) and used HJSPLIT to join the .001 file. After joining was complete, I only have ONE .AVI file that is the same size as ONE of the .00x files. The total size of all files together is 95MBx8, but the file size of my the joined .AVI file is 95MB, SO the movie only plays for 15 mins then the Divx player displays the message "downloading...." All 8 files are sitting in the same directory. What am I doing wrong?

I have tried to open the file with winrar and it says "archiver is either unknown or damanged"

And oh, I can't open the AVI file with any other players like Windows media or Real player. Please help!

Sims 2 Apartment Life
Alright, I've downlded the files and have created an image for CD-1. I have installed the game with no problems so I assume that everything is fine. But a problem comes up when I want to run the game. I can get to the game screen menu that has the options of playing, going to the website and help, among other things. But when I want to play it gives me "Wrong disk inserted. Please insert origional disk into CD/DVD drive.". So I have tried mounting the image of either CD to different virtual drives made by Daemon Tools, and I still get the same message. Everything is O.K. except starting the game. I've tried the fix as well and nothing is working. Help please?
*note* Apartment Body Shop works just fine
