I am also having a problem with SM CD 3.0 v3.2, I have only been able to load one cdr back-up out of many I have tried. Now after reading this forum I now realise that SM 3.2 is most likely junk. I have had no problems with SM DVD 2.0 back-ups, and now realise that the numerous cdr back-ups that I just watched the garbage man haul away where probably good. oh well.

I have also discovered And I might not be the first.
That when I have my sony hard drive and network adapter plugged in SM CD 3.2 won't even load. I thought it was a junk disc And then had my son try it in his ps2 to see if it would boot, and it did. We switched and put the flip top cover on his V7 ps2 (His Cover is on order), I also put in the hd And network adapter and CD v3.2 wouldn't boot. Finding this odd, I then pulled out the network adapter and hd and it booted up, I was so happy and then came the red star field. To once again ruin my day. I swapped the covers back and left the hd and net adapt off my v4 and the SM will boot, but with the same red star field. Now if SM will correct the problems and make this right the next time I call into work for four days might be enjoyable and not more nerve racking then going to work.

whats up guys, I previously had a V1 ps2 which was horrible with both of the SM disks. It took hours to load the DVD one and the CD one would never boot. Anywyas I just bought a used PS2 V9 w/ the network adapter. I tried the DVD version and it loaded without a glitch as many times as I loaded it. But the cd version never loads up. I read some of you have had success with the 3.2 cd version but not always. I'm going to try taking the adapter off and loading the cd version to see if it works as said above.

BTW I have CD v3.0 and DVD 2.0. I bought these a long time ago and it came with the slide card (although I never used the slide card). I'm thinking of buying a flip-top cover for the new ps2. Any of you know where I can get one for cheap. Linker4u.com has one for V9 @ $15 US + Shipping. Can anyone tell me if there are any cheaper sites?

I'll post back if my no network adapter trial worked with the CD version tonite.

any suggestions would be appreciated.

thanks
