I wish to split a beatles documentart set, each dvd has 2 episodes, which I would like as stand alone discs. I cannot for the life of my see where the join is and fear that it may be one 'main movie' made to look like 2 documentaries by the menu system. I am using dvd shrink right now. Is there a tool I can use to do the splitting manually? - or is there an easier way? - I can post the book structure gained from "a famous dvd ripping tool" if that woukd help.
Please could someone advise - im tearing my hair out.. :(

hi

so you,tried dvd shrink on the edit functions? the start/end crop feature.

also to aid you finding the parts ripp the dvd to hard drive folder then find all the vobs to each part by clicking them / useing powerdvd to play the vobs...

you will find it may well be like this

first part

VTS_01_1.vob
VTS_01_2.vob
VTS_01_3.vob
VTS_01_4.vob

second part

VTS_02_1.vob
VTS_02_2.vob
VTS_02_3.vob
VTS_02_4.vob

if you find them use ifoedit to make each ifo/bup for each folder/set then burn separtely! load ifoedit and at bottom center is a button called CREATE IFO keep destination folder the same as vobs separate for each set/film parts...
