I've tried using the guide to backing up a cd to dvd by extracting the game files from the iso, using scanlite to patch for dvd-r, creating a dummy file, using ISO buster to determine the order the files should be put into Sony CD DVD ROM generator (v 1.50). Exporting the image, and finally burning it. The two games I did this with are: Clock Tower 3 and Britney's Dance Beat. Both games do boot, but there is something wrong with both of them.
During the video cutscenes that occur during the game in Clock Tower 3 doesn't play the right video file (for EVERY video file that should be played I get the Capcom logo from the intro of the game with the subtitles of the video that should be there on the bottom). The capcom logo that is displayed is the one that is animated going from the original logo to a horror movie type lettering style.
For Britney's Dance Beat, the first two songs are playble (One More Time and Oops I Did It Again). After that, if I try to progress further in the game by playing the 3rd 4th or 5th songs, I get the loading screen then the screen turns black as if going in-game, but it gets stuck on that screen.
I've altered the games each time (each time using scanlite to verify that all files are pathced and using different sized dummy files. So far nothing seems to work. I've tried that version of using Nero, but all I keep getting is a message from Swap Magic telling me that the dvd I burned is not a valid PS2 disc. Anybody have any ideas as to what is going wrong?
