When i burn movies my buffer level is around 94-96% but yet when i burn a cd the buffer level never moves stays at like 97 or 98% the entire time..what makes the buffer level stay full & not fluctuate...also whats the highest do you all buffer level reach while burning a movie?

let the buffer do its thing. u dont have bad burns do u. if your burns r good let it ride. if it aint broke dont fix it.

The buffer is there to store the overflow of information during the burn.

Basically it will be more stable with CD burning because the amount of data transfer per second is lower than on a DVD.

As long as the buffer is remaining on averge above 90%, you'll be OK.
The buffer will empty as it alters between files/end of the burn.
